Credit cards, passports, etc. contain Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips that can store your personal information. Place your credit cards, passport, drivers license/ID, or cell phone inside the RFID blocking pocket to block these signals. This will help protect these items from 'skimmers' using RFID card readers in the 10-3 thousand megahertz range of frequencies from potentially stealing your information by reading the RFID chips.

Please note: placing your cell phone in the pocket may block the signal and calls could go to your voicemail. Due to advancements in 5G cellular technology, the pocket may still allow some phone signals to get through.
