Credit cards, passports, etc. contain Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips that can store your personal information. Within the small external zippered compartment of the sling pack is an RFID blocking pocket. Place your credit cards, passport, drivers license/ID, or cell phone inside this pocket to block RFID signals. This will help protect these items from ‘skimmers’ using RFID card readers in the 10-3 thousand megahertz range of frequencies from potentially stealing your information by reading the RFID chips.
Please note: placing your cell phone in this pocket may block the signal and calls could go to your voicemail. Due to advancements in 5G cellular technology, the pocket may still allow some phone signals to get through.
The entire backside of the pack is also lined internally with RFID blocking material. This protects you and your body against negative electromagnetic waves which come from small devices such as laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc.

Awesome pack! Just saw them with Nahko in St Louis and what an amazing experience from everyone! This bag is way cooler than I thought, made from hemp, rfid material, good quality, looks super rad, no regrets!

Great little pack. It holds my tablet, phone, battery packs, drives, cables. There is also room for all the little things like my herb and my lunch. Plenty of pockets and the RFID area keeps the electronic info safe. I’ve been using this as my go every-where bag and it is holding up great.
